The Break-Up
It was inevitable. We just weren’t meant to be at this point in our lives, with him moving half the world away to study (logistics or agri science, that remains to be seen) and me getting deep into exams and Nursing. Mutual decisions are just as cutting as one losing interest. Somehow, it even feels a bit worse. like giving up, like we have been beaten by the realities of life. Yet in our case something is left, and the connection is unbroken.
